We are looking for a proactive and strategic Operations Manager to join the Cointelegraph Global team. This role focuses on managing and supporting our network of international media partners. You will lead cross-functional coordination, ensure quality control of content and reporting, streamline operational processes, and act as a key point of contact for partner teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, structured, and confident in working across editorial, commercial, and technical workflows.
What you will do:
- Own day-to-day coordination with international media partners: Act as the primary point of contact, lead calls, manage requests, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Oversee content and operational quality: Ensure partners follow editorial and advertising guidelines, deliver content that meets Cointelegraph’s standards, and operate in compliance with internal processes.
- Design and implement scalable workflows: Build clear, repeatable systems for partner onboarding, content auditing, reporting, and internal coordination.
- Support financial reporting and compliance: Review monthly partner reports for accuracy, ensure alignment with commercial logic, and coordinate with legal and finance teams to maintain compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
- Track partner performance and provide strategic insight: Monitor business and editorial metrics, investigate anomalies, contribute to KPI development, and share regular updates with internal stakeholders and leadership to support accountability and informed decision-making.
- Manage and support junior team members: Set priorities, delegate tasks, and foster growth within a small, remote ops team.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work with IT, Content, Legal, Finance, and other functions to address cross-cutting challenges and improve overall partner experience.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in operations or program management: Preferably in digital media, advertising, or a similarly fast-paced and distributed environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills: Confident in leading partner calls, drafting professional responses, and navigating commercial discussions.
- Process-driven and structured: Able to build, adapt, and improve workflows from scratch or within existing systems — balancing clarity, speed, and scalability.
- Excellent written and spoken English: Able to communicate clearly and effectively across internal and external channels.
- Comfort with distributed teams and ambiguity: Experience coordinating across time zones, cultures, and levels of context; can work independently and make informed decisions.
- Solid commercial understanding: Can evaluate partner performance, understand business logic behind revenue-sharing models, and spot operational red flags.
- Basic financial literacy: Comfortable reviewing spreadsheets and sales reports; no need for deep accounting knowledge.
- Team management experience: Has worked with or led a small team, delegated tasks, and tracked execution.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana) and collaborative documentation platforms.
Bonus
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Media industry or digital advertising experience: Familiarity with editorial workflows, ad products, or content platforms is a strong plus.
- Experience in crypto, Web3, or digital media partnerships: Background in blockchain-focused media, Web3 marketing, or crypto-native operations is a strong plus.
Benefits:
- Fully Remote: Enjoy the freedom to work from any location around the globe.
- Generous PTO: Recharge with paid time off — because your well-being matters.
- Industry Leader: Be a part of a trailblazing organization that sets the standard in its field.
- Career Advancement: Elevate your professional journey within a community of world-class experts.
- Continuous Learning: Experience unparalleled growth and development opportunities.
