Cointelegraph is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Specialist to provide internal IT support during European business hours. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our remote team, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and assisting with troubleshooting across a wide range of platforms and applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our globally distributed team can operate efficiently with minimal disruption.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- At least two years of experience in an IT department.
- Assist employees with account access issues such as password resets, 2FA recovery, and/or login credentials
- Provide support with third party software such as JIRA, Monday.com, CDP, Analytics, and any other issues that may arise
- Assist with the on/off boarding of employees by creating/removing account permissions in a timely manner
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information
- Helps facilitate IT security audits or investigations under the supervision of the Head of Support
- Helps maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
- Provides feedback to product and software development staff when modifications could improve user-friendliness of the programs, applications, and processes for which training is provided
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/ Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Ubuntu
- Proven track record of discretion with handling sensitive or privileged information
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience in administering Google Workspace
- Confident English level (B2+)

- Experience in scripting with Bash, Python, and GO
- Experience with Snipe IT
- Experience with Grafana
