Cointelegraph is a leading publication in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, known for providing cutting-edge news, in-depth analysis, and a global perspective. We are seeking a dynamic Event Manager to lead the organization and execution of high-quality events that represent the Cointelegraph brand, engage our community, and strengthen partnerships within the industry.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution: Lead the end-to-end planning, organization, and execution of Cointelegraph's events and partner events, ensuring that all aspects—from concept development to post-event analysis—are managed smoothly and professionally.
Stakeholder and Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and partners involved in the event, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring that all deliverables meet client expectations.
Brand Representation: Serve as a spokesperson for Cointelegraph, confidently presenting the brand and upholding its standards of professionalism and innovation.
Collaboration with Partners: Work closely with external partners to develop and enhance event experiences, including the creation of event guides and materials that communicate Cointelegraph’s brand vision and messaging.
Content Creation: Develop event guides, schedules, and informational packets for partners and clients to ensure alignment and clear communication of objectives and expectations.
On-Site Event Management: Travel to event locations as necessary to oversee logistics, manage on-site execution, and ensure the highest quality experience for attendees.
Budgeting and Financial Management: Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure all financials align with company standards and event ROI targets.
Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather insights, measure performance against KPIs, and identify opportunities for future event improvements.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in event management, with a portfolio showcasing events ranging from 50 to 500 attendees.
Presentation Skills: Strong public speaking and presentation abilities, with experience in a client-facing role and representing brand interests to diverse audiences.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Event Guide Creation: Experience in creating event materials, schedules, and guides for clients and partners, ensuring clarity and alignment with brand standards.
Collaboration & Partnership: Proven track record of working effectively with partners and stakeholders, with a knack for building relationships and managing expectations.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel for business trips as needed to support event execution.

Preferred Skills:

Background in the blockchain or crypto industry is an advantage.
Proficiency with event management software and tools.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
