Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications where automation is not applicable.
- Test REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints using manual techniques.
- Write, update, and maintain test cases for manual test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and execution reports.
- Track and manage bugs using tools like Jira and ensure timely resolution.
What You Need to Know
- Familiarity with manual testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience testing REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints, using tools like Postman or custom scripts.
- Basic understanding of client-server architecture and web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git or GitLab.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like Jira and test management tools.
- SQL knowledge for validating data and performing database checks.
What You Will Do
- Conduct manual testing for edge cases and exploratory testing.
- Validate the functionality, performance, and stability of applications.
- Write and maintain comprehensive test cases and update test documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Automate the testing of web and mobile applications using Playwright and TypeScript (This position presupposes a transition to FS QA Engineer in the future. Candidates need a willingness to learn and master new types of automation.
