Cointelegraph Research is expanding its team and looking for an inquisitive and detail-oriented analyst with a deep interest in blockchain technology, Web3 trends, and emerging crypto ecosystems. In this role, you’ll create impactful research materials—ranging from market commentary to long-form reports—that help our audience understand key developments in the digital asset space.

We’re looking for a highly analytical thinker capable of translating complexity into clear, concise insights. Your research will span protocols, ecosystems, governance frameworks, and narratives, supporting decision-makers across both crypto and traditional finance sectors.

What You Will Do:
- Conduct thematic and project-level research on tokens, blockchain protocols, DeFi, DAOs, infrastructure layers, and broader crypto trends.
- Analyze diverse data points such as governance activity, token distribution, adoption, development metrics, and incentive models.
- Transform technical documentation, roadmaps, and architecture into clear, structured insights for a broad audience.
- Track developments across sectors (e.g., modular chains, restaking, RWAs, ZK tech, etc.) and identify emerging narratives early.
- Monitor and interpret updates from forums, investor materials, governance proposals, and regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with designers and editors to craft polished research outputs—reports, dashboards, memos, and social content.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in crypto research, financial analysis, consulting, strategy, or VC.
- Strong grasp of how crypto ecosystems function, including token utility, incentive design, and DAO governance.
- Experience working with core project documents—whitepapers, pitch decks, grant programs, and community discussions.
- Curiosity for how protocols evolve, and comfort navigating technical and market data.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, engaging way.
- Familiarity with tools like Dune, Token Terminal, DeFiLlama, DeepDAO, Messari, and Arkham for data-backed insights.
- Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced, async-first environment.
