Formula by Cointelegraph
Formula by Cointelegraph is a full-service PR & Marketing agency powered by the world’s leading crypto media. We specialize in delivering impactful campaigns for clients in the Web3 space.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead strategic direction and execution across client campaigns at Formula. In this role, you’ll work closely with founders, strategists, and creative teams to turn business goals into effective, multi-channel marketing systems. You’ll manage high-impact Web3 projects, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure our clients scale with clarity, consistency, and measurable results. This position is ideal for someone who understands the Web3 landscape deeply, thinks in systems, and leads with both strategic vision and operational precision.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of full-cycle marketing strategies for Formula’s clients — from go-to-market planning to ongoing growth initiatives.
- Translate client needs into clear campaign direction, working across SMM, KOL, PR, content, paid, and product marketing functions.
- Own strategic positioning for clients: define messaging, audience targeting, growth tactics, and success metrics.
- Oversee campaign execution and quality across internal teams — ensuring creative, performance, and brand consistency.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients and their founding teams — guiding narrative focus, market differentiation, and tactical prioritization.
- Monitor market and platform trends in Web3 (DeFi, NFTs, infrastructure, L1/L2) to inform client strategy and maintain relevance.
- Review and interpret campaign data, distill learnings, and continuously optimize marketing systems and tactics.
- Collaborate closely with Formula leadership, project management, and business development to align marketing delivery with client and agency goals.
- Manage a growing team of marketing professionals and external collaborators.
- Improve internal processes, templates, and planning frameworks to scale Formula’s marketing operations efficiently.
Requirements
- 3+ years in digital or growth marketing, including at least 2 years in a senior/leadership role.
- 3+ years of experience in Web3, with a strong grasp of crypto-native culture, user behavior, and product ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional marketing teams and deliver measurable campaign results.
- Strong understanding of positioning, go-to-market strategy, audience segmentation, and performance content.
- Hands-on experience across multiple channels: social media, influencer/KOL, paid ads, content, PR, and community.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills — both internally and with C-level clients.
- Highly organized and able to operate within fast-paced, multi-project environments.
- Data-driven approach, ability to make short researches to oversee the market trends and competitors for the clients cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in brand strategy, content, or creative direction.
- Experience working with early-stage startups or launches (ICOs, TGEs, product rollouts).
- Familiarity with Cointelegraph’s ecosystem, editorial tone, and partner network.
- Network within Web3 VC, creator, and media ecosystems.
Application Requirements
- CV
- Few examples of marketing campaigns or strategic initiatives you have led — ideally including go-to-market planning, growth strategy, or multi-channel execution.
- Short project summaries for one or two of the examples above, describing:
- The objective and context of the project
- Your specific role and decisions you made
- Channels and tactics used
- Results or measurable impact
