We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Global Development Manager to drive the growth and management of our global franchise network. This role is pivotal in identifying new franchise partners, ensuring seamless onboarding, maintaining strong relationships, and overseeing the operational success of our franchisees. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital products, business development, and franchise operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Franchise Expansion & Business Development
- Identify and onboard new franchise partners to expand Cointelegraph’s regional footprint.
- Develop and execute franchise acquisition strategies to attract high-quality partners.
- Negotiate and structure franchise agreements in alignment with company goals.
- Franchise Operations & Performance Management
- Monitor franchisee performance against key KPIs, ensuring compliance with editorial standards, branding guidelines, and financial commitments.
- Develop and enforce operational best practices across the franchise network.
- Address any operational challenges, providing strategic guidance and support.
- Relationship Management & Partner Success
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all franchisees, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Regularly engage with franchise owners to ensure alignment with Cointelegraph’s vision and mission.
- Organize training sessions, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and regional collaboration opportunities.
- Financial Oversight & Compliance
- Ensure franchisees adhere to agreed-upon financial structures, including licensing fees and revenue-sharing models.
- Monitor and enforce timely financial reporting and payments from franchise partners.
- Collaborate with internal finance and legal teams to ensure contractual compliance.
- Market & Industry Insights
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activity.
- Provide strategic recommendations for franchise expansion based on market insights and data-driven analysis.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in franchise management, business development, or partnerships within the media, publishing, or digital industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience structuring franchise agreements.
- Ability to develop and execute scalable strategies for franchise growth and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- Experience working with international stakeholders and managing cross-cultural relationships.
