We need a highly motivated Business Development Manager to play key role in building business relations. You will have a strong ability to think strategically and analytically about business opportunities, and a demonstrated track record of initiating and driving high-value partnerships with important institutions.

**Core Responsibilities**

- Identify key growth opportunities, forge and develop relationships to enable continued rapid growth of the exchange

- Discuss with new and existing blockchain projects for possible listing on bitpaya.

- Work cross functionally with other teams such as product and marketing to share insights, learning and perspectives

- Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email and in-person meetings.

- Track and understand key business partner metrics and their drivers

**Minimum Skills and Qualifications**

- Proven track record of effectively negotiating business agreements and developing business relationships that impact company performance.

- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.

- Pays attention to both details and macro-level outcomes

- Superior verbal and written communication skills.

- Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements. Startup experience is a plus.

- You’re able to hustle and have great attention to detail, time management, and people engagement. You’re able to rally people around projects and make decisions without significant supervision.

- Data driven, can-do attitude, strategic thinker and passion for new products and solutions.

- Demonstrable experience using insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process.

- Strong knowledge of Coins suite of products and how they can be tailored to meet customer’s needs.

- You’re able to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the task at hand done

- You have true passion for financial inclusion across Africa
