Our client is now looking for a strategic, hands-on Creative Director to transform our brand identity and establish design thinking across our product portfolio. You will lead a small team of designers and copywriters to create 360º marketing campaigns that resonate with the intended audience, whether an end user, partner or client. What You’ll Do:
- Lead, manage and grow the creative marketing and brand team including visual designers, copywriters and video designers
- Drive and evolve the expression of our client's brand across communication channels.
- Envision original, unexpected and provocative concepts for high level campaigns, paid media advertising, and everything in between
- Direct and manage the development and execution of all creative assets for marketing campaigns including video, digital, social media, print, sales materials and other assets as needed.
- Be able to expertly communicate the “why” and “what” as well as inspires and motivates the team to unlock their very best, to deliver the “how”
- Have a great eye for modern, beautiful design and understand how this interacts with and supports successful campaign and brand messaging
- Partner with copywriting creative strategist to come up with big ideas against market opportunities we see and insights we gather
- Collaborate with various stakeholders from all departments and align everyone on communication strategies and decisions
- Collaborate with growth team on experimenting, monitoring and iterating on messages and creative
What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience as a marketing creative professional, ideally split between agency and corporate experiences
- Proven success managing creative teams with at least 4 years of management experience
- With your visual design background, you consider yourself a rockstar visual storyteller who can direct creative work across all disciplines and media with particular strength in video
- Years of experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision and the message platform to overseeing production on time and budget
- You understand and have created integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline, print and traditional retail.
- Deep experience in directing web design work including eCommerce
- You are comfortable to direct highly strategic vision work but also can manage tactical, iterative and fast paced asset production
- You have managed an internal creative team including visual design, copy and video
- Highly empathetic to your audiences and ensure creative ideas are grounded in insights
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
