We are seeking a qualified Editorial Specialist to join our Public Communications team in Hong Kong. The candidate needs to have excellent English writing and editorial skills and have a passion for the written word. The role will include creating and editing a range of communications materials for both internal and external audiences, and the candidate should ideally come from a journalism, agency or in-house communications background.
Research, write and edit copy for a wide range of projects, including: public relations, marketing events, business web content, financial announcements and internal communications plans.
Author and edit a range of communications materials including media pitches, statements, press releases, newsletters, quotes, announcements and other documents as required.
Pitch content ideas and plans to key stakeholders, including internal communications initiatives.
- Work with digital, events and developer and community relations teams to ensure consistency of style and efficient project work-flow across departments and markets.
2 to 4 years of professional experience with a heavy emphasis on writing and editing content in English.
Degree in communications, journalism, marketing or another relevant discipline.
Experience in writing and editing across a range of disciplines, including news, business, tech etc.
Flexible self-starter, organised and able to multi-task.
Able to manage workload and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
Positive attitude, entrepreneurial in nature and approach.
Native English speaker required.
Chinese or additional Asian language capability would be a plus.
- Knowledge of blockchain and/or computer science is a plus.
