Crunchbase is looking for a highly-organized, articulate full cycle recruiter with prior experience helping startups build their sales and marketing teams. As a Crunchbase Recruiter, you will be tasked with enhancing our ability to identify, assess, and build a network of business development, sales, customer success, and marketing candidates by communicating the vision of the Crunchbase platform, and guiding them through the interview process. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in a full cycle recruiting role within a high growth startup.

The People & Talent team is responsible for developing and preserving the Crunchbase culture, and for hiring talented and diverse people to build the future of the Crunchbase platform.

**As a Crunchbase Recruiter you will:**

• Build trusted and long-term relationships with hiring managers from Sales/BD and Marketing to guarantee a steady stream of qualified candidates

• With Talent team, develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for a multitude of sales, customer success, business development, and marketing roles

• Utilize Google, LinkedIn Recruiter, Quora, and other sites to perform boolean searches

• Create compelling email campaigns that highlight the exciting challenges and incredible culture at Crunchbase

• Act as the first point of contact for new candidates, conduct phone interviews, schedule interviews, and manage the relationship throughout the interview process

• Serve as the company’s cultural gatekeeper, and ensure the preservation of Crunchbase’s core values

• Drive offer approval and extension processMeticulously track and maintain an up-to-date record of candidate pipelines


• At least one year of experience in a full cycle recruiting role, preferably at a small startup or successful technology company in Silicon Valley

• High level of comfort performing boolean searches

• Experience sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Lever

• Proficiency with Google Docs and Sheets

• Incredibly coachable personality

• Excellent communication skills

• Candidates must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area
