The Role:

We are on the hunt for an outstanding, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented Back End developer to assist the build out of our product using Hyperledger Fabric and Hyperledger Composer. This will involve co-architecting the back-end of the platform together with our Blockchain Lead.

Existing experience with Blockchain (and more importantly with the Hyperledger framework) is welcome but not essential – we’re looking for someone that is willing to learn the framework under the mentorship of our Blockchain Lead.

Your responsibilities:

  • Co-architect our solution using Hyperledger Fabric and Hyperledger Composer

Requirements & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of development experience as a back end developer, ideally in the capital markets/FinTech domain
  • Extensive experience with Javascript (ideally ES6/7/8) specifically Node.js and server-side frameworks like Express
  • A deep understanding of test driven development, including writing unit tests with JS frameworks such as Mocha
  • Experience in creating, and connecting to, RESTful APIs
  • Experience with the Git version-control system and git workflows (e.g. Gitflow Workflow)
  • Experience with the SCRUM Agile framework
  • Legal eligibility to work in the UK (EU Citizen / Visa-holder)
