Ripple’s Corp Dev group is extremely active as it is able to leverage the Company’s significant balance of XRP to pursue a wide range of opportunities. Ideal candidates will have a strong mix of strategic thinking, the ability to engage with senior executives at outside firms, an understanding of finance and accounting, experience or strong interest in Fintech and Blockchain.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Help focus Ripple’s Corp Dev strategy in specific areas of interest
  • Engage with CEOs and VCs to identify and qualify interesting opportunities
  • Take an opportunity from inception to completion, owning the process from sourcing to diligence to execution
  • Engage with broader organization (product, engineering, marketing, etc.) to further qualify opportunities and refine our areas of strategic interest

Ripple is seeking a Head of Tax Operations to build and execute a scalable and comprehensive strategy to best manage the tax operations function in a fast-growing company. In this role you will be responsible for all compliance and operational matters as it relates to direct and indirect tax, including managing Ripple’s consolidated tax reporting and domestic compliance activities, implementing global processes, driving continuous tax process improvement efforts, and various ad hoc projects. This position reports to the VP of Global Tax, and will interface with upper management and various cross functional teams. The candidate must be a self-starter, capable of working with limited direction while taking full ownership of their areas of responsibility, with strong communication skills to facilitate information flow between various functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Legal, Business and Finance. The candidate will be expected to anticipate and surface issues, recommend solutions, research and solve problems, and exercise good business judgment while performing these functions.
