Project Manager, Security
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a software project manager
- At least 3 years of experience in Agile project management
- Extensive experience working with JIRA
- Experience working with developers.
- Familiarity with common security controls
- Proven leadership ability including effective problem solving skills and ability to facilitate communication between team members.
- Effective skills at tracking effort and project progress.
- PMP certificate is highly desired
- Security certifications are preferred
- Experience in vulnerability management lifecycle
- Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
- Familiar with NIST, ISO 27000 is preferred
- Understanding the security needs and goals of Dev teams
- Develop detailed project plan that integrates with Sprints
- Run project huddles
- Track the progress and productivity of security teams
- Work with engineers to decide on the amount of time needed to finish tasks
- Maintain an appropriate level of quality in security system development and configuration.
- Facilitate efficient communication across all levels of a project to ensure consistency in reaching the project’s goal, and to help in the recognition of any potential opportunities, risks or complications.
- Stay current with any advances or changes in equipment, technology and methodology.
- Report team progress to management in a form of weekly report
