- Reporting to the Head of Brand + Comms

- Partner with internal stakeholders on driving a coherent communications strategy from which all our internal and external communications will cascade
- Draft key messaging points that describe our complex business in a clear and consistent way
- Advise management on identifying opportunities for new communications tactics or programs to respond to shifts in the external or internal environment

- Produce and edit town hall meetings and AMAs, having significant input into shaping the themes and content
- Write, edit and disseminate internal newsletters and other employee communications, collaborating with HR and other groups as needed
- Work with HR and management on internal programs to improve listening, employee engagement, and trust
- Work with internal stakeholders to create and manage highly interactive and educational virtual or (when possible) in-person employee conferences

- Work with our engineering and product teams to develop educational and other external-facing content about our products, as well as user communications (emails, system-related issues or updates, etc.)
- Partner with our marketing team
- Work with external agencies on PR and media relations
- Draft emails or other communications to educate, influence or inform external business partners when important changes occur, such as regulatory issues
- Draft strategic external communications and proactive communications to enhance our company’s messaging on crypto
- Partner with internal stakeholders to manage Binance.US’s presence at external events, e.g., trade conferences
- You may also cultivate relationships with members of the technology and financial-services media

Requirements

- You have designed communications to explain complex subjects to a diverse and broad audience of stakeholders in a medium or format that will most resonate with them
- You operate with a value-based framework
- You are able to quickly shift your focus when needed to respond to changing priorities
- You have managed cross-functional initiatives involving multiple and diverse stakeholders across an organization
- You have managed or played a significant supporting role in internal or external events
- You have a strong understanding of US public policy related to financial services
- You are comfortable using a variety of social media platforms
- You have strong listening and collaboration skills
- You can write clearly, accurately and concisely for a variety of audiences
- You can use data and insights to create meaningful communications or campaigns
- You understand the US financial-services lawmaking and regulatory landscape
- A crypto background is not required, but an ability to quickly learn and assimilate a new field is required
- You have 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: a corporate communications function at a technology or financial-services company; agency or PR firm; internal communications at a major federal or state regulatory agency
