For our Sofia office the Accounting team is looking for a dynamic, experienced Payroll Specialist. You will work alongside with the Senior Accountant.In this role, you will:

  • Collect all new-starter necessary data and documents and ensure the employees files are up-to-date;
  • Keep updated the database with newcomers and leavers;
  • Appoint new employees, prepare employment contracts, job descriptions and related documents;
  • Prepares amendments and termination documents;
  • Communicate with local authorities: Labor inspection, National Insurance Institute, National Revenue Agency, Labor medicine and similar;
  • Responsible for submission of all documents, data and declarations to the institutions, related to the payroll;
  • Follows that payroll administration, benefits, bonuses, contract updates and employee records are maintained accurately in the payroll software;
  • Prepares reports for the needs of the management, proposes measures for improvement of the work process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree will be considered as an advantage;
  • Excellent knowledge of the local employment law, including the Labor Code, Health & Safety regulations and related legislations is a must;
  • Experience with administrating working hours in shifts;
  • Experience in working with payroll software (Aladin will be considered as an advantage);
  • Attention to detail and strict compliance with deadlines;
  • Good verbal and written English skills;
  • A “can-do” attitude; you are diligent and loyal, quick, effective and responsible;
  • Well-organized, proactive and solution-oriented team-player.
