Manager, Diversity & Inclusion

The Diversity & Inclusion Manager will assist in leading and planning the implementation of D&I initiatives, ensuring all required action items are thoughtfully executed while supporting Ripple’s culture of inclusivity.  As a member of the D&I team reporting to the Head of D&I, the Manager role will work with various internal and external stakeholders around the world to execute Ripple’s global diversity initiatives while nurturing a culture of equitable inclusion.  The D&I Manager will take every opportunity to raise Ripple’s intercultural literacy and ensure Ripple continues to be an environment where employees can be their most authentic selves.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Foster cultural competency at all levels of the organization through advocating for, supporting, and assisting ERGs and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Helps sustain Ripple’s culture of inclusion by supporting ERG programming, encouraging active participation in intercultural dialogue, and connecting Ripplers with support and educational resources as needed.
  • Maintain an effective demographic data reporting cycle to benefit all levels of Ripple.
  • Strengthen our ERG program, including building out strategic governance, reward structures, and the establishment of D&I mentorship to ensure inclusive accessibility.
  • Partner with ERG Global leads to support programing logistics, communications, and executions.
  • Amplify Ripple’s approach and advise on the build out of our equitable recruiting database & operations to improve inclusive hiring practices.
  • Support Head of D&I in providing effective ideas and programming that builds a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Work in tandem with departments to develop intraorganizational, intersectional D&I initiatives to improve Ripple’s accessibility and diverse retention.

Qualifications

Basic:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Preferred:

  • 4 years of program and project management
  • Experience with Diversity & Inclusion programming
  • Creativity and strong communication skills (research, writing, editing, presentation and speaking).
  • Strong interest in and willingness to learn and stay current with latest trends.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a strong, supportive team member.
  • Confidence and ability to express ideas/opinions and offer communication ideas/recommendations in a diplomatic way.
  • Ability to establish and build effective, lasting relationships with colleagues, partners and key stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Google Suite programs and ability to adapt to and learn new software programs/systems.
