The impact you will have:

Sitting within our Crypto Intelligence Team, you will lead a team of Analysts and Software Engineers to help build our best-in-class dataset that is collected across the open and dark web. Your contributions will form our ground truth dataset, the most fundamental building block that defines our understanding of low-risk and high-risk crypto wallets – helping hundreds of our customers, every day.

What you will do:

  • Have overall responsibility for the sourcing and collection of data that allows us to identify the owners of crypto wallets.
  • Help determine the direction of the Data Collection team, from hiring to defining objectives and key results for the team and being responsible for its work outcomes
  • Develop partnerships with external organisations that can provide useful data
  • Manage outsourced resources, including contractors, to enable scalable data collection
  • Inspire a collaborative culture between the Analysts and the Software Engineers within the team
  • Work closely with the Research team, who will guide your data collection, and the Data Augmentation team, who will work closely with you to ensure complete coverage of actors’ wallets.
  • Think strategically about how to align the team’s goals to the wider company objectives

  • Experience in leading a cross-functional team or project
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A broad understanding of the technology used in the tech industry (cloud computing, APIs, web scraping, databases, …)

  • A demonstrable interest in cybercrime trends
  • Experience working within a fast-paced data or research-led environment
