The HR Manager, Korea will be partner with local executives, corporate HR team and associates to deliver HR services in a proactive and solution-oriented manner and aligned with the business strategy for Korea Office.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid HR pedigree, who has already thrived in creating best‐in‐class people experiences as an HR Generalist or similar role in high‐growth organizations, and who wants to get involved in an industry that is changing the world.


  • Responsible for payroll and health and welfare benefit, statutory required documents, including review of vendor operations and ensures payroll deadlines and compliance, and administration of the health and welfare benefit plans in accordance with local country laws
  • Liaise with Corporate HR for company initiatives, set up and ensuring HR policies are in place. Support wider HR team in localising HR policies to the Korean market, in compliance with the local market and labour law and regulations
  • Work together with corporate talent acquisition team for hiring activities at local level, and manage the candidate experience for onboarding
  • Take charge of employee relationship function, promote culture and establish a positive relationship between employee and the company
  • Ensuring high-quality application of HR services policies, and programs, including employee life cycle-related processes
  • Prepare HR regular reports for management review
  • Function simultaneously as a project manager and subject matter expert for key people operations work activities as assigned
  • Be a trusted advisor for management team for HR-related issues, ensure compliance of HR-related programs, processes and project


  • Degree in related fields
  • At least 7 years hands-on experience in labour laws, health insurance, employee benefit, pension and social welfare related matters in Korean market. Experience in employee relations will be a plus
  • HR generalist that is experienced in the full spectrum of HR functions is preferred
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and willingness to go above and beyond
  • Excellent communication skill both verbally and in written form for both Korean and English.
  • Independent, resourceful, and proactive, pleasant and able to interact with all levels of staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Overseas working or study experience is plus
  • Consumer payment, financial, crypto industry experience is plus

Nice to Have

  • Previous acquisition experience is a plus especially experience in interviewing for competence assessment
  • Previous experience in facilitating leadership programs, diversity and inclusion program, employee wellness programs
