- Manage the payment processing function and supporting business metrics and indicators for a best in class payments service
- Supervise, schedule and prioritize tasks and responsibilities of the Payment services department staff to meet workload and scheduling needs of the department
- Recruiting, training, coaching, performance monitoring, performance evaluations and discipline of payment services staff as needed to fulfill the goals of the Department
- Directly lead a team of payment operations managers
- Serve as the escalation point for payment issues, and work closely with the payments and front line teams to quickly resolve issues
- Ensure adequate controls are maintained with regards to regulatory compliance
- Manage Debit Card, Wire, ACH, and Alternative Payments vendor relationships, and work with vendors to optimize customer experience and authorization rates, ensure adherence to service level agreements
- Identify and drive initiatives to prevent and reduce losses related to customer verification, billing and payments
- Ensure timely and professional communication with internal and external customers to minimize losses in all business lines
- Support Audit and Compliance as needed
- Partner and influence development of strategies around Payment Operations technologies
- Evaluate, recommend and develop new strategies and more efficient processes related to Payment Operations
- Identify, justify and support new projects related to the overall improvement of Payments Operations, serving as a key stakeholder for all aspects of Payments project life cycle (design, development, testing and implementation)

- Bachelor’s degree, MBA, and or equivalent industry experience
- 10+years related payment operations experience 7 years successful experience managing multi unit teams
- International multi-county payment experience and extensive knowledge of cross-border transactions.
- In depth knowledge of all relevant banking and regulatory rules and policies related to payment operations, as well as expertise in electronic payment processing including current industry processing models and future industry strategies. An understanding of the global trends in electronic payments including Faster Payments, International Remittances, Global Money Movement and disruptive payment landscape.
- Ability to analyze, assess, design, and adjust process flow for payment operations and the related quality and efficiency impacts. In depth knowledge of principles, policies, and practices related to payment operations.
- Ability to develop new policies and procedures in response to, and in anticipation of, changes in the business and regulatory environment.
