The Role

We’re seeking a Global Director of Talent Acquisition to partner directly with executives and organizational leaders to guide hiring strategy, drive headcount management, and build efficient and scalable hiring processes. This is a pivotal role to the success of the business as we set out to grow our team by 250%+ over the next 12 months and seek to radically transform how 3 billion+ users live and interact on the decentralized Web.

In this role, you will develop industry-leading recruiting practices to attract diverse, bar-raising talent, and will mentor, manage and grow a team of recruiting managers, coordinators, sourcers, and recruiters across the globe. You and your team will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders, advising hiring teams on best practices, while formulating strategic talent initiatives that align with our mission and business priorities.

You will:

  • Articulate, own, and lead our global recruiting strategy including scaling our systems and processes and identifying opportunities to elevate our candidate experience and employer brand
  • Serve as a strategic partner on talent strategy, prioritization, and workforce planning and translate these insights into an actionable sourcing and employment marketing strategy
  • Serve as a thought-leader and subject matter expert on hiring assessments and selection strategies
  • Assess the ROI of various sourcing and hiring strategies
  • Develop and oversee our global employer branding efforts and employee value proposition
  • Lead, coach and effectively manage the global Talent Acquisition team’s performance while fostering a collaborative and development-centric team culture
  • Define, measure, and analyze all Talent Acquisition performance metrics to monitor the team effectiveness
  • Develop the team and implement efforts to continuously improve our Talent Acquisition processes
  • Develop and manage an annual Talent Acquisition budget
  • Handle relationships and contracts with existing partners and vendors while evaluating opportunities for new partnerships and innovation
  • Implement innovative sourcing, referral, and recruitment strategies with a focus on attracting diverse, bar-raising talent to meet our current and future hiring needs
  • Design and refine our systems, tools and trainings to support a best-in-class candidate experience that scales across our global team
  • Role model and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Partner with L&D to ensure hiring managers have the skills needed to identify and attract high-quality candidates
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders across the orgnanziation to provide a proactive approach to talent acquisition and forecast hiring needs
  • Review, analyze and report on ever-evolving talent market trends


  • 10+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth, technical environment
  • 5+ years of experience building, managing and mentoring a global recruiting team in a hyper-growth environment
  • Proven ability to partner and work effectively in a cross-functional leadership capacity
  • Proven experience setting key performance indicators and targets, presenting key metrics to management, and making data lead decisions
  • Experience delivering large projects, process improvements and managing through change
  • Experience providing a consultative recruiting approach with internal stakeholders
  • Proven track record leading successful Recruiting teams that exceed their hiring goals
  • Experience coaching and enabling recruiting managers to develop strategic recruiting plans
  • Adept at developing and executing passive sourcing strategies and headhunting for senior roles
  • Skilled in interview process improvement strategies
  • Experience owning employer branding strategies
  • Proficiency in social media recruitment strategies
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with maximizing features in HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Greenhouse experience desired
  • Demonstrated track record of success in developing and implementing successful and creative recruitment strategies
  • Demonstrated track record of success developing and implementing long-term recruitment strategy to meet recruiting goals in high-growth organizations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Previous in-house experience, preferably in a start-up or technology-driven organization
  • Knowledge of workforce planning and headcount forecasting

Talent Acquisition Team:

Part of the broader People function, the Talent Acquisition team at Unstoppable Domains supports the growth of the company across all departments and geographic locations, while being laser-focused on creating fair, equitable and dignified candidate experience. The team currently consists of 3 recruiters focused on hiring in North America, and a senior technical recruiter in Ukraine; all reporting to a Director of People. By Q2 2022, we will onboard additional technical and business recruiters, recruiting coordinators and recruiting managers in North America, Ukraine, Singapore and Ireland, scaling the team from 4 to a total of 12.
