As an engineering manager for our networks team, you will be working on things like ensuring our engineering team has no blockers, making sure tests are in place, processes are smooth, code is properly colocated, conducting code reviews and ensuring proper architecture for new features. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our go / terraform codebases, conducting interviews with potential candidates, and assessing their abilities via a standardized process – essentially the face of our company. We also expect every engineer to spend at least one day on customer support to understand our customer better.

We’re looking for a self-starter, who is communication focused with a deep sense of ownership and a team mentality to collaborate on achieving the best design/architecture for our systems.

You can expect to meet on a daily basis to go over task progress and design solutions. You’ll be working directly with the technical team: Manuel Kreutz, Steve Toro, and Mauro Delazeri.

We need you to have experience with:

• • Designing highly available systems with disaster recovery in mind
  • Writing and managing test suites
  • Creating code quality requirements and enforcing them
  • Benchmarking tools to ensure your code does not slow down production traffic
  • Improving throughput for an engineering team
  • The HTTP specification
  • Interviewing candidates for Golang or Dev Ops proficiency
  • Linux / Bash Scripting
  • Deploying to popular cloud providers (AWS, Digital Ocean, Google Cloud, etc)
  • Documenting your processes and sharing knowledge
