Job description and responsibilities

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complicated technical issues in simple words.
• Investigating and maintaining clients’ incidents for a variety of products, primarily blockchain transactions and financial complaints.
• Optimization and automation of incident reporting with Customer Support.
• Collecting and influencing the implementation of all the necessary bug fixes for repeated incidents.
• Extending and maintaining current incident logs and action plan documentation.
• Driving data investigations together with other engineers in order to fix client’s issues.
• Shaping the incident reporting to set the future direction for the technical support team.

Job qualifications and requirements

• Ability to read and understand code specifically in Node JS, JavaScript and TypeScript – from 2 years of experience.
• Good troubleshooting skills, ability to read and understand logs and stack traces and guess from the stack trace what’s going on.
• Identify if a problem is caused by customer’s behaviour, code libraries or our functionality.
• Familiarity with SQL (any dialect).
• Familiarity with Blockchain technology (Ethereum + one more will be a bonus).
• Experience with Cloud products (AWS, Cloudflare).
• Background in accounting or comparable reporting will be a bonus.
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Native or fluent English and Russian.
