The Role:

We are seeking a data and analysis whiz to build out deep insights on the crypto/web3 world. The Corporate Strategy Associate will work with the Head of Strategy to find, clean, analyze and present data to inform corporate decision making. The role will also include the development, implementation and management of automation and monitoring tools to measure both industry-wide trends and internal KPIs.

What You’ll Own:

  • Mine for new sources of data from all available sources within and outside the industry to develop deep insights into current crypto/web3 trends and enterprise adoption.
  • Create tools for monitoring internal KPIs across the organization, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Work across the organization to institute automated systems where applicable to increase overall organizational efficiency
  • Develop presentations, quantitative models, and reports on tight deadlines.
  • Build out monitoring and surveillance systems for industry news flow, competitive dynamics, risk management and internal milestones to disseminate throughout the company.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to help build out research tools for the design of NFTs, new tokens, and general tokenomic projects.
  • Work closely with the Strategic Investment team to analyze qualitative and quantitative corporate strategy factors in investment decisions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a high pressure, quick turnaround industry (technology, investment banking, consulting, etc)
  • A passion for finding and developing unique data sources within the crypto/web3 industry
  • Deep experience in automating data scraping, cleaning, and analysis using coding tools such as Python and Excel VBA
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis and the ability to build out basic regression models
  • A passion, or growing interest, in blockchain technology, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, Metaverses and other key Web3 building blocks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with fluid information and little guidance
  • Comfortable using technology, including Google Workspace, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex blockchain/crypto topics to non-experts
  • Intellectual curiosity, humility, and creativity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline, Master’s degree preferred.
