Job Description

Chain is looking for an experienced and highly motivated blockchain Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). The CRO will lead the further expansion of the business and develop a best in class revenue organization to help us scale.
The CRO will be responsible for designing and building both short-term success as well as long-term sales and business strategy in order to accelerate the engine of growth across all segments and functions. The ideal candidate has experience in building systems of growth in mid-stage companies and ramping them up, preferably with specific experience in selling Crypto or Fintech related products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth, Oversee sales, customer success, marketing and business development functions
  • Own the P&L, Ensure that the organization and its leaders are delivering ‘investable plans’ for each planning cycle (short, mid, and long-term)
  • Set team KPIs and objectives
  • Scale the team, Hire, train and retain a highly skilled, diverse and effective team
  • Build scalable processes, Build departmental systems and automate processes to enable the company to scale while achieving efficiency gains and quality improvements on a sequential basis
  • Be accountable for results, Focusing on both long- and short-term strategies; take responsibility for accurate forecasting and meeting/exceeding agreed upon sales and revenue targets
  • Develop GTM strategies, Successfully launch and guide strategies to optimize retention, monetization and growth


  • 15+ years of successful revenue/sales leadership with experience scaling and managing all aspects of the P&L
  • Executive-level, charismatic presence with the ability to establish relationships with key partners, influencers and decision-makers
  • Demonstrated leadership success in a high growth startup/scaleup
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships
  • Ability to coach, grow and influence others in a highly fast paced and diverse environment in terms of organization culture, experience and seniority
  • Proactive approach to management with proven ability to build successful teams
  • Roll-Up-Your-Sleeves attitude with the necessary drive and work ethic to maintain our high velocity as the company grows
  • Seasoned executive with experience building models, conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis, and reporting against models
  • Experience presenting to company board as well as prospective and existing investors
  • Commercial awareness of trends and opportunities within business to consumer industries as well as the digital marketing marketplace
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
