Chief Financial Officer, Wilder World/Zero

Wilder World is an Immersive 5D Metaverse built on Ethereum, Unreal Engine 5 and ZERO. Wilder World is powered by the WILD token which is used on the Wilder World Metaverse Market where you can buy and trade NFTs with in-world utility. The Wilder vision is to create a fully decentralized and community-owned virtual nation to be experienced in our immersive photorealistic Metaverse.

The Chief Financial Officer at Zero/Wilder World is dedicated to the prosperity of the organization and is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, developing strategic plans to improve the organization’s overall financial health and making decisions based on the organization’s financial stability. We are working remotely and are open to candidates working from anywhere in the US or Canada.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and insurance departments
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Develop financial and tax strategies
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company’s strategic direction
  • Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
  • Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
  • Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions
  • Oversee the issuance of financial information
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile
  • Stay abreast of legal issues affecting the industry and all open legal issues involving the company.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts, arrange for debt financing and equity financing and participate in conference calls with the investment community.




  • A Master’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience and success in a Controller / CFO capacity.
  • Experience with crypto / blockchain industry is a major asset.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.
