Job Description

We’re looking for a Business Development Team Coordinator + Executive Assistant to support the Ripple Business Development leadership team (4-5 leaders) and work across Ripple’s Global BD organization from a BD coordinator and operations perspective. The role will be based in San Francisco. As the BD Team Leadership Executive Assistant, you will play an essential role in keeping the team organized and operating effectively. As the BD Team Coordinator, you will play a central role across the BD team managing, executing and optimizing BD operations, execution and managing the cadence and rhythm of the team.


  • Provide direct support to VP of Business Development and 3 senior Business Development executives
  • Day-to-day management of calendars with heavy scheduling requirements
  • Prioritize conflicting needs – handle matters expeditiously and proactively. Follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Help executives plan and manage their calendars to optimize how they spend their time
  • Book and manage travel arrangements and reservations for Business Development leadership team and other team members as needed
  • Prepare and file executive expense reports
  • Plan and prepare information for meetings, presentations, interviews, etc.
  • Proactively arrange and book team outings, lunches, and events. Help plan, coordinate and execute BD team industry, partner/prospect, and community meet up events as needed (partner with events team)
  • Help BD team continuously build and improve team’s culture
  • Coordinate and plan key team and cross functional meetings. Build agendas, take meeting minutes, capture action items, distribute notes and next steps
  • Help define, manage, optimize and report on critical team and cross functional processes
  • Manage key cross team reporting (eg, weekly status, monthly pipeline, BD quarterly OKR tracker, etc)
  • Run Deal Closed reporting and deal tracker reporting
  • Manage POs and payments for BD Deals to partners as needed
  • Support and execute new team onboarding
  • Support BD NDA process as needed (follow up, saving to Salesforce, etc)
  • Work with team to implement, operationalize and improve use of Salesforce
  • Conduct market, competitive and prospect research as needed
  • Collaborate with other Ripple Executive Assistants, as needed


  • 10+ years of experience working as an Executive Assistant
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Hands-on experience with Google Apps, Concur, Coupa
  • Passion for excellence and working in a team environment with a strong company culture
  • Previous startup experience
  • Experience planning and executing team events – both internally and with customers
  • Experience managing, defining, improving and reporting on team and cross functional processes
  • Keen interest in learning the business and playing a central role in driving cross team operational excellence
  • Experience with competitive, market and partner research
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with team to identify and fix problems
  • Ability to work with partners/prospects to support the sales process and partner onboarding
