Our People team is called the Krakenite Experience (KX) team, and we aim to become a world leader in People Experience. We are now hiring a US Benefits Lead  to join our diverse and forward‐thinking global company.  This skilled and experienced Benefits professional will add value to Kraken by ensuring that our programs align with our Total Rewards philosophy, are market competitive, and ensure that the Krakenite Experience is world class from their first days as a Krakenite all the way through their entire Kraken lifecycle.

    • Participate in the creation, analysis, design, development, implementation, and administration of benefits packages in the US and Canada
    • Ensures programs are administered in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (COBRA, ACA, FMLA, ERISA, etc.)
    • Partner with Workday and Payroll on any benefits, time off or leave of absence configurations or improvements
    • Lead the annual open enrolment process to ensure accuracy and execution
    • Responsible for the audit and processing of benefits invoices and enrolment data
    • Oversee the absence administration and ADA processes to ensure compliance and consistency
    • Develop and update benefits communications for the employee lifecycle
    • Manage external vendor relationships to ensure a quality employee and employer experience
    • Responsible for resolving employee claim escalations
    • Identify and execute on process improvements for benefits workflows

What We’re Looking For

    • BS/BA, preferably in a business field
    • Minimum of 7 +  years benefits experience.
    • Experience with Workday and benefits technology
    • Excellent prioritization and organization skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Interpersonal/Influencing/Negotiating skills
    • Independent, self-managed, and self-starter personality
    • Be able to provide solutions and clarity in times of ambiguity
